Customs Smuggling of Goods Infringing the Intellectual Property Rights in the European Union

This research article aims to investigate the customs smuggling of intellectual property rights infringing goods in EU. There is no doubt that it a phenomenon has accompanied humanity from beginning development trade, cannot be eliminated, but its scale can limited (D. Matthews, P. Žikovska, 2013). The analysis used data taken reports on right enforcement EU 2009-2020. results show and new trends market, analyses carried out do not provide clear basis lo conclude [hat authorities are winning fight against smuggling, despite observed decrease confiscated or number opened proceedings, as these drops largely related lockdown due Covid-19 placing with high risk under control.
